Hello all
I've had a brilliant day of walking today and as a result have some good photos. All the photographs were taken on my phone, so the quality is sometimes a bit dodgy. But today I think that they almost do the stunning scenery justice.

The view back towards where I have come from. The farthest point is Morte Point. I was there 6 days ago. |

Lundy away in the distance |

Onwards towards Hartland Point |

The path goes down. |

One of many beautiful coves along the way |

Follow the path as it descends then back up the and away to the left. The dot where the sea joins the slope on the left is a walker. Probably Jan.
And then there was me.
A Beautiful Calf
A Beautiful Seat
As I walked away from Clovelly I passed through some of the best kissing gates and ordinary gates that I have ever seen on any path or coastpath. They were extremely ornate, but you will have to take my word for it because I didn't take any photos.
But I did take some of the most beautiful seat that I have ever seen on any path. Here are a few pictures of it:
I must get one for home.

Well it was nearly all photographs today. There's a reason for that - I want to go down to the pub. I need to have a shower and put on some fancy clothes and then I'm off.
And, it is an exceptionally hard day of walking tomorrow. The books say it the most difficult of the whole South West Coast Path.
Take it easy.

Lovely photos. I look forward to sitting in a seat just like that in your garden
